A tailored, calf-length coat cut from a super dense, high count, Japanese, waxed cotton canvas, in a medium grey, yarn-dyed chambray weave; woven at a fourth generation mill in Shizuoka, this cloth receives a soak-wax finish offering a semi-rigid structure that produces a rich patina with wear. Features a narrow collar, a trench-style lapel that can be buttoned to the neck for better protection, front on-seam pockets, and an extended rear vent pleat. Panelled construction through the front allows for a well sculpted silhouette that falls away from the body with an A-line profile; darted, curved sleeves offer a forward stance at the sides, creating a natural line from shoulder to hem. Constructed with a full lining in a fine, undyed cotton twill complete with two internal breast pockets for an elegant, long lasting finish; Corozo buttons throughout.
