New Cloud Brown Mini Kelsch

New Cloud Brown Mini Kelsch

A generous, relaxed fitting, button-front shirt cut from a midweight cotton/linen mini-Kelsch in ecru and brown.  Features a standless collar in one piece construction, a left breast pocket, a clean finished rear yoke with pleats at the shoulders, a modified cuff with a one-piece placket, and a curved hem. Expanded proportions produce a light, airy silhouette that is balanced by Unkruid's trademark, gracefully curved two-piece sleeves. Constructed using French seams and flat felled seams for a long lasting finish that leaves a tidy encased interior; undyed Corozo buttons.

The Mini Kelsch Cloth is part of Unkruid's ongoing collaboration with a one-man mill located in Alsace in the East of France. This edition is woven from cotton and linen yarns and bears a crisp, firm texture that softens slightly with age. Kelsch cloths serve a similar role to Scottish Tartans in French culture and this mill is one of the only remaining producers of these cloths with rich, complex history.
