MAN-TLE’s signature, relaxed fitting overshirt returns this season in their perennial, high density, waxed cotton chambray, woven in Shizuoka, in a soft mineral blue. Features their classic narrow collar, MAN-TLE’s signature military button closure threaded onto 8mm seatbelt tape, and a clean finished back yoke with pleats set right against the armhole. Roomy, yet controlled, in its proportions, Shirt-1 offers an accommodating fit with a subtle forward tilt created by an expertly cut two piece sleeve; the pleats at the yoke form a sort of faux bi-swing shoulder and provide excellent range of motion. Durably constructed with french seams throughout for MAN-TLE's trademark hard wearing finish that is built to last; flat hem.
The fabric will take on a life of its own, shaping to the body with wear while the waxed coating will fade with washing, becoming papery in texture with time.
